happy last day of the semester
hey dudes this ur boy comin at u from the future (I have had a busy weekend and this is the first time I’ve been able to sit and collect my thoughts enough to write) to tell u all about Thursday April 6th bcuz I had an epic day
on the count of three when i snap my fingers I will be waking up at 7am Thursday morning … okay lets be realistic… it was 7:30am

I woke up and then laid in bed wayyyy to long and once again left myself with a full 20 minutes to get ready and hopefully make breakfast and a coffee. Which I nailed like always and left with lyss for our journey to school. By the time I left lyss at her building and walked to Mac it was 8:20 and my final edpsych class was about to start and everyone in my class was already there buzzing with excitement and chatting about our BBQ later that day. Todays class was still final presentations so I had all class to work on my last assignment that was just creating an in-depth resource and notes list for my inquiry video *which I finished in class* and fill out the little presentation peer reflections on each presentation. Anyways I didn’t have to go to biblio after class and i got to go home right after class which then showered, had a meeting with my boss and #quitmyjob #kinda… then I finished getting ready for work and packed a bag of things I needed for my exiting adventures for the day. I walked to work because my friend M was going to drive us both the our cohort BBQ after our shift but when I got to work EVERYTHING CHANGED.. jk its not that big of a deal I just found out I didn’t
okay so here is a condensed play by play:
I show up to work and my boss and the main preschool teacher are talking so I started unloading all the group boxes from the leader room and that’s when the coordinator girl comes in and is like
“hey what are u doing here I thought you didn’t work today?”
“oh ya I was trying to get rid of my shift but no one could take it so I wasn’t gonna leave u guys hanging”
“no like I dont think ur on the schedule and I thought it was weird because you always work Thursdays”
“wait fr?”
“ya”
“wtf.” “I feel real dumb rn” …. “I literally posted abt this shift so many times too why didn’t I check if I actually worked”
“wanna stay? were doing easter egg hunts today its gonna be so fun”
“bro.” “I do wanna stay but I literally needed this shift off so I have to go” “but also easter egg hunts…”
I wish.
I went to the BBQ
but it was worth it
I had a lot of fun
I played pong, I played spike, I played cards, there was jello shots and a potluck life was epic and awesome and I had to leave early right when things were getting good but Ki picked me up to take me to Earls where I got a free meal (thank u vikesactive ) and spent the evening with the dance girlies. once dinner was over I planned to meet back up with my friends from class and saw that Maiya and Ella were already in line so I was going to join them and their class friends until THE DANCE TEAM SHOWED UP?!? some of them had a program party that night and the rest went to a diff club that was playing sh*t music so then I literally got to see like all my friends at the same time which was literally the best thing ever. i got a ride home from my friend Sfi and after we dropped everyone off we sat and chatted for so long that Beth texted me asking if I had been kidnapped b/c it was so late and it was time to end the night and go home to bed.
